The P938 is Sig Sauer’s newest 9mm pocket pistol. It appears to be an upscaled P238 which comes with a DA/SA trigger. The single action trigger pull is claimed to be 5lbs. It is 5.9 inches in length, 3.9 inches in height and 1.1 inches in width. According to Sig Sauer, it weighs in at 16.o ounces without a magaize which will probably put it around 18 ounce with a magazine inserted. The P938′s single action trigger will be a welcomed addition to the crowded 9mm pocket pistol market. It will have stiff competition from the Beretta Nano, Diamondback DB9, Kahr PM9 & CM9, Kel-Tec PF-9, Kimber Solo, Taurus Slim and the Ruger LC9. No word about the future of the Sig Sauer P290 which according to my local dealer has been met with luke warm sales. The P938 is a hammer fired, lock breeched, 1911 styled 9mm. It will be lighter and probably thinner than the P290. Manufacturers do not usually keep competing pistols on the market for long. A full length test of the P938 will be done as soon as one becomes available. For more information go to Sig Sauer.
The below websites are from reviewers that have no connection with the manufacturers. In addition, they normal purchase the weapons they review from dealers just like you do. This allows the reviewer to test samples that you as a purchaser will more likely get rather than a test gun sent to a reviewer.

We recently learned through an e-mail from Guns & Ammo that Kahr Firearms will be following the successful CM9 pistol with the CM40 chambered, of course, in the .40 S&W caliber. There are no details about the release on Kahr’s website. We assume price will be close to the CM9. The CM9 has been selling for as low as $391. 00 at some retailers. It has been very successful for Kahr. The CM40 has great potential to fill the gap in lower priced concealed carry .40 S&W pistols for the shooter who does not feel a 9mm is up to the task.

Firearm Patriot has finally secured a Kimber Solo for review. This is a metal pocket 9mm pistol in a world of plastic. Our initial hopes for the Solo are high. The Solo appears to be well built and feels of quality when held in the hand like only a metal gun can. Look for the full review of the Kimber Solo in December 2011!
The oldest firearm company in the world is now shipping the new Nano to dealers. The weapon is suppose to be light, thin, compact and chambered for the 9 mm Luger round. It is designed to compete head to head with weapons like the new Ruger LC9. Beretta’s Storms have been a success for the company. Beretta is known world wide for its’ fine shotguns. It also produces the sidearm for the U.S. Military. This weapon will have a lot to live up to and expectations will be high. There is no shortage of subcompact 9mm on the market currently. Firearm Patriot expects that a .40 caliber weapon will be introduced if the 9mm is successful. We will bring you more information on this weapon as we get it. Beretta has recently released a video on the Nano. It can be reviewed by clicking on the following link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML1474saF7g
In the future, Firearm Patriot will be reviewing the Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm, S&W Sigma .40 Caliber, Ruger LC9 9mm, Browning Auto5 12 gauge shotgun, Savage Mark II .22LR Rifle, Kimber Solo, Diamondback DB9 and the Taurus 709 Slim 9mm.
